Cows

Kim has wanted cows for as long as she can remember. And in the past few years, those dreams finally came true! We started with Miss Molly, a mini cow with red hair. She was a good girl but didn’t love interacting with us so we had to say goodbye.

Then we found Lorelei. Lorelei is a Jersey-Holstein cross who came to Patch of Heaven when she was just a few days old. We bottle fed her and halter-trained her. She now lives in the pasture but acts like a rather large puppy dog. She loves pets and gives slobbery kisses.

Next came Benny. Little Benny the bull is also a Jersey-Holstein cross and was also a bottle baby. He is a sweet, gentle young bull who was also halter trained. One day, we hope to have some more calves!
