Goats

When we moved to Patch of Heaven, we said NO GOATS! But Jake and Grandpa wanted goats in the worst way…so we caved. Jo and Ellie -adult fainting goats- were the first to arrive. A little while later, came our bottle babies, Boone and Ziege. Eventually, we experienced our first kidding on the farm and we were hooked.

Since then, we dove into the world of dairy goats, beginning with Evie and Frankie. Shortly after arriving, Frankie kidded a sweet little girl, Lou. This year, we brought a trio of Nigerian Dwarfs to the farm. We are hopeful that our new buckling, Chip, will help us have a barn full of cuteness next spring!
